idea 1:
The film could start in a classroom, boring, prison like, teacher. Clock represents the wait for freedom, the weekend.
School, Prison: bars could be on the windows after the camera looks to the window.
Pile of textbooks: represent weights that are holding us down. A symbol of stress and tiredness
Clock, Time: how precious time is. As a kid you have all the time in the world. A message about not rushing growing up, enjoying being a kid through narration. The fears of becoming an adult and having no time to self.
Bell: a sign of relief and hope. The end of a school day a start to a weekend. A realization a spiritual awakening. May mean the start of a new experience.
As the bell rings the world starts to change kids cheer and the boring constricted classroom turns into an open fantasy world.
Imagination: The inner form of escape. A way to visualize the world from our own thoughts and perspective. A way for kids to escape everyday problems in a world that makes sense to them. A child's way to make sense of the world. For adults who work in a creative career e.g. animator it is more a way to build on ideas, eventually leading to a concept or story.
The imaginative world could be set in a woods. bright colours. fantasy buildings mixed with certain playthings or fun objects.
