I decided to give the woodland part of my environment some some deph. I added more trees and even another tree house in the far background. This was to make the woods feel more open in scale. I did this after some feedback from a family member about the woods feeling less airy and calm and more claustrophobic. The art world I designed feels more open so I examined what I did and decided there needed to be more in the background to make the forest feel more open and less constrained.
This required adding more thinner trees to the background so it still felt like a forest but had spaces to breath. I also left one area open using the golden section.
